We are searching for Senior Hardware Project Manager, focused on new product introduction projects to join our innovative team as a new #bloqstar. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring that the product requirements are delivered on time and on quality.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead hardware projects from concept through to market launch, collaborating closely with Engineering, Product Management, Industrialization, and Program teams.
- Identify and manage the appropriate resources to ensure the successful delivery of products to customers.
- Work with customers and product teams to identify potential solutions for both existing and new systems to be integrated into our ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, dependency tracking, and stakeholder management.
- Critically assess existing products and processes, recommending improvements or proposing new systems where necessary.
- Lead internal initiatives to define and implement a governance framework that supports decision-making and performance tracking based on success metrics.
- Manage project risks, resolve issues, and facilitate the removal of blockers to ensure on-time and successful project delivery.
- Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress and milestones, ensuring transparency and accountability across teams.
What do you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in hardware project management.
- Proven track record of operating at scale with global teams and products in fast-growing consumer markets.
- In-depth experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applied to hardware products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, including Product, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechanical, Cloud, Procurement, Industrialization, Quality, and Production.
- Proficiency with project management tools and platforms such as Gantt charts, Confluence and Jira.
- Strong ability to succeed in fast-paced environments with evolving and ambiguous business requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
It would be great if you would also have
- Experience in B2B enterprise products;
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile certification.
