Paço de Arcos, Portugal (Hybrid)Salesforce Service Owner
We are seeking a talented Salesforce Service Owner to join the Hitachi Rail global team, responsible for the strategy, governance, and delivery of the Salesforce platform and CRM services across Hitachi Rail. This role will lead a globally distributed service delivery squad to ensure the Salesforce platform delivers measurable business value in an agile, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for Salesforce adoption, optimization, and expansion within Hitachi Rail.
- Align the Salesforce strategy with business goals, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation objectives.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the business impact of Salesforce investments.
- Own and prioritize the Salesforce service backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into service/product requirements
- Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development
- Manage licensing, contracts, and vendor relationships with Salesforce and third-party integrators to optimize cost, service levels, and platform performance.
- Design and implement effective change management programs to drive Salesforce adoption across business units.
- Establish a governance framework for ensuring consistent, standardized use of Salesforce across the company.
- Ensure the Salesforce platform complies with corporate security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies for platform availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Oversee the technical architecture, governance, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.
- Provide strategic oversight and technical guidance on resolving complex Salesforce platform incidents and issues.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related modules.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing globally distributed teams.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools, integrations, and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience developing Salesforce related roadmaps / architectures.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
- Master’s degree in information systems or a related field.
- Experience working in a multinational organization or diverse work environment.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Knowledge of ITIL Framework and processes
