As an S/4 Data Manager – Planning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data management processes. You will support the definition of business data requirements within the S/4 HANA design process and ensure that existing ECC data is fit for purpose during migration.
This role is aligned with Planning (NS&SCP – Network Strategy & Supply Chain Planning EPO Area) and involves engaging with various stakeholders to ensure that our data design meets business needs and aligns with SAP standards. Accountabilities
- Manage and support Data Experts within NS&SCP, including performance management and coaching.
- Lead the definition and implementation of S/4 Enterprise Data standards, ensuring alignment with business context and governance.
- Apply expertise in data, process, and object design to support S/4 process design.
- Collaborate with business data capabilities to maintain alignment in data design.
- Influence prioritization of data delivery and manage progress reporting.
- Support the transition from current to future state data design, including change impact assessments.
- Ensure non-SAP system requirements are considered in data design.
- Contribute to the development of S/4 Data Governance Strategy and Roadmap.
- Assist in executing the S/4 Data Quality Strategy and Cleanse and Migrate strategy.
- Provide support for project data migration processes.
- Ensure compliance with S/4 HANA Data Governance Framework and AZ Global Data Standards.
- Assist in creating global procedures for data asset governance.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Line management experience.
- Significant experience and subject matter expertise in Planning/NS&SCP.
- Demonstrable knowledge of how business data requirements support process execution and analytics.
- Experience designing and implementing Data Standards for a global enterprise.
- SAP working knowledge across transactions and reporting.
- Experience in Business/IT partnering for Data Governance solutions.
- Experience with global working and across cultures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others.
- Ability to manage negotiations across complex groups.
- Proven track record of delivery and effective prioritization.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- S/4 HANA implementation programme experience.
- Experience in life sciences and healthcare.
- Experience in Data Governance.
- Experience in measuring, managing, and improving Data Quality.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant key business processes.
