About the role
- Our Development & Data Factory is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department.
- As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will ensure, drive and improve the robustness and stability of the organization by executing testing, validation and quality assurance processes to meet quality standards.

You will be accountable for:
- Leading a team of QA professionals to ensure deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
- Designing and implementing quality assurance processes, standards, and frameworks across DT projects and initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance into the software development lifecycle and also with Release Managers and Change Managers to ensure stable and quality assured releases.
- Enforcing quality assurance standards and processes across the DT organization (incl. within the development & data factory CoE as well as outside).
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Implementing and maintaining automated testing tools and technologies to streamline QA processes.
- Monitoring and reporting on QA metrics, providing insights to stakeholders to drive informed decisions.
- Ensuring thorough risk management within Solvay's framework, auditability of operations through documentation, and compliance with applicable policies.
- We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Quality Management or a comparable field.
- Relevant work experience in Quality Assurance or IT Project Management as well as managing team members.

- Expert in developing and implementing quality assurance (QA) frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and systems.
- Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall testing processes, to manage testing across diverse project lifecycles.
- Extensive expertise in leading QA teams and coordinating cross-functional efforts to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Advanced proficiency in leveraging automated testing tools, such as Selenium, TestNG, or JIRA, to optimize testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Experienced in designing metrics-driven QA processes to monitor and report on testing performance and product quality.

About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 58.400 euros to 73.000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
