Description of Deliverables: Our company has a long-running project of implementing Sailpoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) IAM (Identity & Access Management) system for its headquarters and all its affiliates within Europe.
The goal is to centralize identity management of several different populations of users onto a single IdentityIQ (IIQ) instance running coherent set of standardized JML processes, manage chosen set of Pan-European systems (ADs, AADs, LDAPs, other user stores and key target systems) and provide user entitlement provisioning in these systems.
The solution is being rolled out together with several other big business projects, for which it is a key prerequisite.
The project has been running for several years and has made its way through portion of the scope, with bigger part of the it still ahead. Due to the scope, breadth and the longevity of the project focusing on sustainability, maintanability, development efficiency and management of technical debt of the solution is also a key aspect.
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead our long-term, large-scale Identity & Access Management (IAM) program.
This is a critical role responsible for shaping the future of our centralized identity management solution, built on Sailpoint IdentityIQ (IIQ). You will be responsible for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring the solution meets the diverse needs of our headquarters and European affiliates while managing technical debt and ensuring long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy: Take over, own, maintain and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Sailpoint IIQ platform within project, aligning with the overall business objectives and the prerequisites of other major business projects.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters, effectively collaborating with business stakeholders, IT security, engineering teams, and IT contacts from affiliates across Europe to gather requirements, build consensus, and manage expectations.
Requirements & Backlog Management: Cooperate with team's Business Analyst, Solution Architect and Senior Devs to translate complex business needs into clear and concise user stories, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria. Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the development team is focused on delivering maximum value.
Agile & Development Oversight: Work closely with the agile development team, guiding them through sprints, and ensuring the delivered solutions are of high quality, sustainable, and maintainable.
Technical Debt & Sustainability: Proactively identify, prioritize, and create strategies to manage technical debt, ensuring the long-term health and efficiency of the IAM platform.
Rollout & Adoption: lead the project team to plan and execute the rollout of the IAM solution to new user populations and target systems across Europe.
Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of the IAM solution. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on product progress, risks, and milestones.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in a complex, enterprise-level software environment.
- Strong domain knowledge in Identity & Access Management (IAM), including concepts like Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, entitlement provisioning, and identity lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale, multi-year projects, preferably in a multi-national or federated organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams and perspectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct, hands-on experience with Sailpoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) is highly desirable.
- Experience with other IAM products and technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP).
- A technical background or a strong understanding of software development and architecture.
