Get ready to make a significant impact! We're searching for a talented Post Production Editor who lives and breathes video. This isn't just any role – you'll be a creative force behind our multi-talented editing engine.
You’ll work on both end-to-end post production and as a valuable part in a team across;
- Our Youtube Channel with 125,000+ Subscribers with 2.5M+ views on a single video.
- Our Toolkits which focus on educational content and teaching.
- Creative and punchy content for advertising and marketing.
We're talking about taking video projects from their initial spark all the way to a polished, final product. If you're a master of Premiere Pro and After Effects and love the satisfaction of editing a project from start to finish, then your editing expertise will be invaluable as you help us create clear, compelling, and original content.
Our entire team is 7-8 people, so we are looking for someone who can be flexible and is very good at managing their own time. You like to take initiative, get stuck in and push projects forward. A lot of your work will get published as we are fast-moving and continually producing new content.
Responsibilities
- Take video footage or a brief and go from outline to completion.
- Edit and deliver multiple high-quality videos every week
- Use your skills to enhance each idea; you understand pacing and timing, how to cut shots together to evoke emotion and peak interest.
- Selecting shots and trimming, you choose people’s best takes and are tuned in to the micro adjustments needed to achieve the highest level.
- Seamlessly transition between multiple cameras and know how to choose the best angles.
- Efficiently animate motion graphics on every video. eg. text, arrows, lines which increase understanding or elevate the video.
- Design and implement Title Graphics and work with graphic designers if needed.
- Ensure videos are ready for delivery across multiple platforms.
- Colour correction of your edits and footage you are working on
- Clean up and enhance dialogue with ease
- Use music or sound-scapes at a proficient level
- Contribute to pre-production and help the assistant director as requested
- Basic compositing, keying green screens and other simple VFX
- Maintaining backups and file organisation of your project.
- Maintaining and adding to the footage library
Teamwork skills
- Identify potential challenges early and communicate solutions effectively.
- You take team deadlines seriously and understand your role within a project.
- Offer constructive revision feedback to other team members on their edits
- Adaptable an able to pivot quickly if the creative direction changes
- Good at coming up with solutions; when the footage isn't right or when the material is challenging you come to a reasonable outcome. You solve your own problems first.
- Good listening skills, you try to truly understand the assistant directors vision and requests.
- When things are vague you take it upon yourself to still make progress or ask for what you need.
- You use know how to use Notion for organisation and task-management or are willing to quickly learn.
Experience
- Software
- Premiere Pro (very proficient)
- After Effects (proficient)
- Blender (bonus)
- You must be confident with After Effects, you are happy using it in every project.
- Basic Illustrator (to use with after effects) is a bonus.
- Added bonus: experience or interest in 3D animation.
- Very good English.

Pay: 22,500.00€ - 28,000.00€ per year
