We're looking for a driven and analytical Performance Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team for Standvirtual and OLX Motors in Portugal.
In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our paid marketing campaigns across various digital channels to drive measurable results and achieve our business objectives. To excel as our Performance Marketing Specialist, you'll need a blend of strategic thinking and analytical prowess backed by hands-on execution experience and project management skills.
What responsibilities will you get when working with us?
- Campaign Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and manage (on your own or in collaboration with a media agency) high-performing paid digital advertising campaigns across channels such as Google Search and Display, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and other relevant platforms;
- Budget Management: Effectively manage and optimize advertising budgets to ensure maximum ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Campaign Execution & Optimization: Set up, monitor, and continuously optimize campaigns for performance, including bid management, audience targeting refinements, and A/B testing of ad creatives and landing pages. Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis. Write compelling ad copy and work with design teams to create effective ad creatives. Ensure that proper tracking and attribution are in place to measure campaign effectiveness accurately;
- Project & Stakeholder Coordination: Manage timelines and deliverables for all paid marketing initiatives, ensuring smooth execution from planning to launch and optimization. Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, sales, content, design) and external vendors, effectively communicating campaign progress, requirements, and results. Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed;
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Regularly analyze campaign data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve performance. Generate comprehensive performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to the marketing team and other departments.
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- Proven Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing successful paid digital advertising campaigns in different channels. Google Ads & Meta Ads are mandatory. Others (like Criteo, RTB House, TikTok Ads, etc.) are a plus;
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of various ad platforms, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and campaign structures. Experience in applying A/B testing methodologies;
- Analytical Mindset & Reporting acumen: Strong ability to analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable optimizations. Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4) and Excel (Google Sheets) is mandatory. Experience with tools such as Looker Studio and Google Tag Manager is a plus;
- Budget Management: Experience managing significant advertising budgets and a strong focus on maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS) and customer acquisition cost (CAC);
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure campaigns are launched efficiently and on time;
- Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams (e.g., brand marketing, sales, product, content, design) and external partners, ensuring alignment and clear expectations. Fluency in English is a must;
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in campaign setup, tracking, and reporting to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
