About the job
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building cutting-edge applications that power our global platform, ensuring stability, security, and adaptability as we continually innovate. Your expertise will directly shape the future of our services, impacting thousands of users worldwide!
You will lead by example, mentoring team members, reviewing code, and delivering scalable, elegant solutions. Collaborating closely with Quality Assurance engineers, Product Owners, Analysts, and DevOps specialists, you’ll drive seamless integration and knowledge sharing across teams. By planning work, producing reliable estimates, and maintaining clear documentation, you’ll lay the foundation for a high-performing, resilient platform that meets evolving business needs. This role is central to achieving our vision of delivering world-class solutions.
Job Goals
Adapt to ambiguity by solving complex problems with innovative and scalable solutions.
Collaborate effectively across teams to align technical goals, foster cross-team influence, and enhance architecture.
Support enhancements and technical direction for existing microservices written in .NET, ensuring performance and reliability.
Design and implement new microservices with a focus on rapid development and seamless deployment to production.
Contribute to setting the team’s technical direction and best practices, establishing benchmarks for excellence.
Estimate and plan the technical roadmap for the team’s managed services to ensure strategic alignment and delivery.
Ensure high code quality by consistently writing and maintaining automated tests that safeguard stability.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming: A strong understanding of object-oriented software development concepts, including SOLID principles and design patterns, with proficiency in Microsoft .NET Core, C#, and related technologies.
Cloud and Microservices Knowledge: Experience designing and developing cloud solutions, particularly with Azure, and practical knowledge of microservice architecture and container-based development like Docker.
Front-End Development Skills: Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, along with frameworks like Bootstrap or Materialize.
Secure and Scalable Solutions: Familiarity with secure coding practices and a solid grasp of cyber security threats, alongside the ability to develop synchronous/asynchronous communication systems like Web APIs or messaging patterns.
Database and Source Control Expertise: Practical skills in constructing complex queries using SQL databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL) and fluency with Git or similar source control systems.
