About the role
- Our Infrastructure team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department.
- As an Industrial IT Infrastructure Manager, you will ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of the organization’s industrial IT systems by overseeing their design, deployment, and maintenance in alignment with business and operational requirements.
- You will be accountable for:
- Leading and building a high-performing team to support industrial IT infrastructure.
- Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans for industrial operations.
- Collaborating with operations and engineering teams to align IT infrastructure with industrial processes.
- Managing vendor relationships and contracts to optimize the performance of industrial IT and OT systems.
- Monitoring infrastructure performance and identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Overseeing compliance with industrial IT, OT and IoT standards, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory requirements and leading OT and IoT infrastructure projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and the integration of new technologies.
- Managing the demand of industrial IT and OT infrastructure across DT projects, including right-sizing of the organization, and engaging external service providers to meet short-term needs.
- Ensuring thorough risk management within Solvay's framework, auditability of operations through documentation, and compliance with applicable policies.
- We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Relevant work experience in Industrial IT Infrastructure Management or Manufacturing IT Operations.
- Competencies:
- Expert in deploying, managing and supporting and industrial IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and alignment with operational technology (OT) requirements.
- Deep knowledge of IT and OT convergence, Extensive expertise in designing and implementing robust IT infrastructure solutions for manufacturing and industrial environments.
- Experienced in implementing cybersecurity measures tailored for industrial environments, including risk assessments and compliance with standards such as IEC 62443.
- Proficient in managing vendor relationships and SLAs to ensure high-quality services and support for industrial IT operations.
- Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with industrial processes and business objectives.

About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 70.960 euros to 88.700 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
