We’re looking for a warm, organized, and confident Host to join our team and be the first and last smile our guests see.
What You’ll Do
As a Host, you’ll play a key role in creating smooth, welcoming, and memorable guest experiences. From managing reservations to making every arrival feel personal, you’ll help set the tone for what Mona Verde is all about: exceptional vibes, service, and flow.
Your Main Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Front of House
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, making a positive and lasting first impression.
- Escort guests to their tables, assisting with drinks from the bar if needed.
- Ensure a smooth and friendly goodbye at the end of the visit.
- Anticipate guest needs to create a personalized and attentive experience.
- Maintain a calm, welcoming, and professional presence – especially during busy service.
Reservations Management
- Manage the reservation system to optimize capacity and guest flow.
- Accurately input and update reservation details and generate reports.
- Coordinate with the reservation system provider for technical updates or configurations.
- Promptly respond to all reservation inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, SMS, and email.
- Keep table statuses updated in real-time to support the floor team.
- Organize guest data and booking history to support service and operations.
Operational Support
- Follow opening and closing procedures for the reception desk.
- Keep the reception area and entrance clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
- Assist other hosts and front-of-house team members as needed.
- Build strong relationships with clients, local partners, and businesses to support bookings.
- Support complaint handling with care and communicate with management when necessary.
Communication & Brand Alignment
- Represent Mona Verde’s values, energy, and style in every guest interaction.
- Share relevant guest preferences or special requests with the floor team to ensure a smooth handoff.
- Keep guest-facing contact information and booking tools up to date across platforms.
- Follow all brand and service protocols, including daily checklists.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a host/front-of-house role, ideally in a high-volume hospitality setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
- Comfortable using reservation systems and messaging platforms.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong people skills.
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for hospitality and a natural sense of organization and flow.

Pay: 1,500.00€ - 2,000.00€ per month
