ABOUT OUR TEAM

We are a part of dynamic PBF&R, Transformation & Governance Office, a strategic unit driving the digitalization and transformation of PMI’s global Finance Function. Our mission is to reinvent financial planning and reporting through globally standardized, region-agnostic processes and tools.

Within this group, our team focuses on Projects related to Enterprise Performance Management processes - including Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting. We play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Finance Transformation programs, ensuring alignment with PMI’s digital roadmap and enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

As a member of our Global Team, you will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, multicultural, and challenging environment. You will participate in Global initiatives, collaborating closely with both internal and external partners to support PMI affiliates with innovative Finance analytical solutions. You will be encouraged to contribute fresh ideas and work closely with your team and the entire organization.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As a Finance System Projects Governance Lead, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Finance Global PBF&R system solutions and processes, ensuring alignment with the Finance Digital Roadmap and maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinate acceptance testing and support the global user community to facilitate adoption of new and existing functionalities.
  • Act as a strategic intermediary between Finance, Business, and IT Teams to ensure technology solutions meet evolving business needs.
  • Present regular Steering Committee updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhance the Finance application and data landscape by promoting innovation and implementing improved processes across teams.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in solution-building or process redesign projects, ensuring delivery of desired business outcomes.
  • Oversee documentation for systems and services, including training programs, materials, and operating manuals.
  • Ensure system readiness and compliance with PMI standards, including the accuracy of master and transactional data.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • College/University degree in Business Management, Information Management, Business Analytics, Statistics and Econometrics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, data analytics, or systems and information management within a multinational environment.
  • Proven expertise in financial systems and tools, acting as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes in a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in people, performance, and talent management.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with a proactive and curious mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical and operational topics into actionable insights.
  • System-oriented mindset with experience in financial applications and programming languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written) and MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
