Defect Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage the defect lifecycle from identification to resolution.
- Coordinate with development, testing, and business teams to ensure proper prioritization and handling of defects, actively pushing for progress.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics and defect resolution progress, on a daily basis ensuring visibility and supporting decision-making.
Skills
- Degree in areas such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or similar fields.
- At least 3 years in leadership or coordination roles.
- Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of testing processes and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with complex environments.
- Familiarity with the financial sector is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, taking ownership and ensuring progress.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
