We are looking for a Data Scientist/ML Engineer to join our company in one of our projects, in Lisbon. Tasks: <ul> <li>Design & Deploy: Create machine learning models and AI solutions;</li> <li>Innovate: Fine-tune and extend Large Language Models (LLMs) including open-source and commercial models;</li> <li>Optimize: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for enhanced model efficiency;</li> <li>Analyze: Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to unlock better model performance;</li> <li>Build Generative AI: Develop cutting-edge models for content creation, process automation, and innovation;</li> <li>Apply Traditional ML: Utilize decision trees, SVMs, neural networks, and more to solve diverse problems;</li> <li>Collaborate: Work alongside data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders;</li> <li>Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality AI solutions through rigorous testing and validation;</li> <li>Document & Share: Maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing and reproducibility.</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or similar;</li> <li>3+ years of experience in machine learning and AI development;</li> <li>Skilled in Generative AI, including model training, fine-tuning, and deployment;</li> <li>Experience with both open-source and commercial large language models (LLMs);</li> <li>Proficient in Python with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face;</li> <li>Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques;</li> <li>Familiar with traditional AI/ML methods like decision trees, SVMs, and neural networks;</li> <li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI/ML deployments;</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and effective communication;</li> <li>Fluent in English; French is a plus.</li> </ul> Nice-to-Have Skills: <ul> <li>Knowledge of reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF);</li> <li>Familiarity with prompt engineering;</li> <li>Understanding of ethical AI principles and model interpretability.</li> </ul> Work Arrangement: <ul> <li>Hybrid</li> </ul> Offer: <ul> <li> Health Insurance; </li> <li> 3 and a half days of leave per year + 22 vacation days; </li> <li> Unlimited access to Udemy. </li> </ul> If you are interested in the opportunity, upload your C.V. or send it to [email protected] with the reference #16702338 in the subject. askblue - Where Business meets Technology
