About the position:
Visma’s AI Strategy & Enablement team is looking for AI Solutions Architects to champion the successful development of cutting-edge GenAI and agentic products in Visma companies. You'll join a core team of AI Product Managers, Product Designers, and other Solutions Architects, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the technical feasibility, scalability, and reliability of the next generation of AI-powered software products delivered by Visma.

As an AI Solutions Architect, you'll be at the heart of Visma’s AI transformation, helping product teams turn ideas into real, scalable AI powered systems. You’ll shape our AI architecture landscape and define how we responsibly build, deploy, and maintain GenAI and agentic capabilities across products.
What you bring to the table:
- Show what is possible: Build MVPs and demos that showcase the latest AI-enabled capabilities relevant for Visma product development teams, inspiring teams and stakeholders to make bold moves.
- Architect AI Solutions: Accelerate the design of scalable and reliable AI architectures tailored to the needs of diverse Visma products and services.
- Guide Technical Feasibility: Assess new ideas and prototypes for technical risks, feasibility, and alignment with modern architectural principles.
- Enable Development Teams: Support product teams by embedding best practices for building with GenAI—covering topics like API integration, model orchestration, vector databases, observability, and performance.
- Share AI Expertise: Capture and spread architectural patterns and lessons learned to raise quality and speed adoption across Visma.
What we expect from you:
- Strong AI Engineering Know-how: Experience designing, implementing and operationalizing SaaS solutions that incorporate GenAI, LLMs or ML APIs.
- AI Curiosity, Understanding and Vision: You know and can consult engineering teams on how (and how not) to productionalize Gen-AI systems, from Multi-agent systems, MCP and applied context engineering and you are excited about their practical application, short term and long term.
- Architectural Foundation: Strong background in software engineering principles— SaaS product development, microservices, cloud-native, APIs, and event-driven designs.
- Collaborative & Curious: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and continuously learning about new business problems and domains.
- Effective Communicator: Able to clearly explain technical tradeoffs and architectural decisions to both engineers and business stakeholders.
