Natixis in Portugal is part of the Global Financial Services division, where it applies technology for the development of financial expertise in its two global business lines – Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management – and, transversally, for the entities of Groupe BPCE.

Job Description
Working in the team of facilities you are expected to:
- Support the maintenance and operation of facilities by identifying and resolving issues, conducting inspections, and ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, codes, and standards, including environmental, health, and safety regulations, to minimize risk and liability for the company.
- Coordinate construction and reconstruction projects.
- Optimize construction processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervise the quality of execution, ensuring high standards.
- Develop strategies to address specific challenges in civil engineering or architecture.
- Efficiently manage project timelines and budgets.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in the field.
- Actively participate in problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Supervising and execution of facilities engineering projects.
- Assessment and continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintenance and optimization of existing facility systems.
- Analysis and implementation of measures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in facilities engineering or a related field is required.
- Fluent English is mandatory and a good level of French is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Engineering Expertise: Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to facility design, operations, and maintenance.
Project Management: Ability to manage projects from conception through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
Building Systems Knowledge: Understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, safety systems, and other facility-related systems.
Sustainability Practices: Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy efficiency measures in facility operations.
Soft Skills:
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a team, manage cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse groups including management, contractors, and staff.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with different departments such as maintenance, operations, and finance.
Additional Skills:
Computer Skills: Proficiency in engineering software, AutoCAD, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data related to facility performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Experience in financial planning, cost estimation, and budget management related to facilities.
