Job Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed 3D CAD models using Solid Edge and Fusion 360.
- Develop assembly and component models based on engineering specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Use simulation software like FlexSim or Visual Components for manufacturing processes.
- Create virtual prototypes to optimize product functionality and efficiency.
- Analyze simulation results for bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation to support models and simulations.
- Maintain organized records of design changes.
Job Profile:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidEdge, Fusion 360 etc.).
- Experience with industrial process simulation software (FlexSim, Visual Components, etc.).
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies and their application in industrial processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Work environment is presential in Lisbon Aptiv Center.
- Availability for traveling in Europe is required.
