Your missionIn this role, you will lead the maintenance agenda of the production line, ensuring maximum equipment availability and reliability through the deployment of the SPARK performance system. You will be responsible for planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, reducing breakdowns, and developing the technical skills of line teams in Progressive Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) practices.
Responsibilities
Your day to day with us:
Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
Minimize downtime and losses by driving Breakdown Elimination (BDE) and structured problem solving.
Review and prioritize SAP work orders daily, ensuring an updated and aligned maintenance backlog.
Coach and train line teams in PM/AM methodologies to build technical capabilities and autonomy.
Ensure maintenance technical documentation, job plans, and standards are complete and regularly updated.
Lead weekly and monthly maintenance planning sessions in alignment with the annual plan.
Collaborate with Line Leads and Process Leads to optimize planned stops, startups, and changeovers.
Track, analyze, and report key maintenance KPIs (availability, planned vs unplanned work, cost, OEE).
Coordinate spare parts management with the storeroom, ensuring quality and availability.
Contribute to engineering projects, acceptance testing, and equipment improvements.
Share best practices across the site and support capability building in SPARK deployment.
Qualifications
What will you need to succeed?
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Experience with IWS/HPO methodologies and structured problem-solving tools.
Proven track record in coaching, training, and developing teams.
Ability to analyze technical data and translate insights into concrete actions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and maintenance systems (SAP/CMMS).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with credibility on the shop floor.
Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
