We’re currently hiring a Lead Data Architect to join a high-impact project within a strategic Expertise Development division.
What is the challenge about:
You’ll lead data architecture and strategy across multiple domains — from governance and analytics, to visualization and system optimization. You’ll be the key connection between business needs and technical execution, translating complex data systems into actionable value for diverse stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in data engineering, data architecture, or similar roles
Strong experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
Proficient in Python, SQL, Java or Go
Deep understanding of data management, governance, and data analysis methodologies
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS), big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Hadoop)
Experience with data lakes/warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
Familiar with event-driven architectures, including Kafka and RabbitMQ
Excellent leadership skills and ability to guide cross-functional teams
Clear, confident communicator — especially when translating technical concepts for business stakeholders
Fluency in English and French are mandatory
Work Location & Flexibility:
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in Lisbon.
