What You'll do:
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
- Monitor performance, apply patches, and handle backups and recovery.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and encryption.
- Support database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with developers and document configurations.
- Manage database infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud (AWS).
- Set up monitoring tools and enforce security policies and audits.
What You Are:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, backup, recovery, and security.
- Familiar with server admin (Windows/Linux), scripting (PowerShell/Bash), and cloud databases (AWS).
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new tech.
