Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
No professional experience needed;
Resilience in problem-solving and pressure situations
Autonomy and sense of responsibility
Organizational skills and efficient time/task management
Good communication skills
Responsabilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and Administrate open-source databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, etc.).
Ensure high availability, backups, replication, and disaster recovery.
Monitor performance, tune queries.
Apply security patches, manage access, and enforce data protection.
Automate routine tasks and maintain monitoring/alerting systems.
Document environments, procedures, and best practices.
Evaluate and implement improvements for reliability, scalability, and cost.
