About the role

Our Infrastructure team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of the organization’s software delivery processes by designing, implementing, and maintaining secured continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

You will be accountable for:
-
Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery based on the requirements by the Software Engineers.

Automating deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of applications.
-
Collaborating with development, testing, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
-
Monitoring CI/CD pipeline performance and identifying opportunities for optimization.
-
Implementing security best practices in CI/CD pipelines to safeguard code and infrastructure.

Provisioning, managing and maintaining infrastructure-as-a-code (IaaC) / Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) tools for consistent, stable, scalable and efficient environments.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the CI/CD pipelines to minimize downtime and speed up code deployment.

Evaluating and integrating new DevOps tools and technologies to enhance pipeline capabilities.

Documenting CI/CD processes and providing training to development and operations teams.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.

Relevant work experience in DevOps engineering or CI/CD Pipeline Management.

Competencies:
-
Expert in designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate and optimize software delivery processes.
-
(eg : Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub.YAML, Azure DevOps, Source Code Management experience).

Deep knowledge of CI /CD related software development, system integration and configuration management.
-
Extensive expertise in ITIL processes as well as automating build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead time.

Advanced proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, to support scalable and reliable deployments.
-
Experienced in managing risks related to CI/CD engineering as well as assuring its quality, overall managing continuity at all times.

Proficient in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Groovy) to customize CI/CD processes.
-
Strong experience in leading production support for global, high-availability Azure platforms, with on-call and incident management responsibilities.

About the pay and benefits
-
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 35 600 euros to 48 700 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
