We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our production team and contribute to delivering the highest standards of quality to our clients.
Role Overview
The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision furniture components according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring quality standards and production deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator (minimum 2 years).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of Alphacam software and ability to work with CNC programs generated in Alphacam.
- Knowledge of CNC machine programming (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical/vocational training in machining or related fields.
- Experience in bespoke furniture manufacturing or precision woodworking.
