Supervisão da Equipa: O capataz é responsável por supervisionar os trabalhadores, garantindo que todos cumprem as suas tarefas de acordo com os padrões de qualidade e segurança estabelecidos.

Planeamento e Coordenação: Ele coordena as atividades diárias, assegurando que os materiais e equipamentos necessários estejam disponíveis e que as tarefas sejam realizadas dentro do cronograma de obra.

Garantia de Qualidade: O capataz verifica a qualidade do trabalho realizado, assegurando que todas as normas e especificações técnicas sejam cumpridas.

Segurança no Trabalho: Ele é responsável por garantir que todas as práticas de segurança sejam seguidas no estaleiro de obra, minimizando riscos de acidentes.
