The challenge
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who will be at the front line of our growth strategy. You’ll combine B2B SaaS sales development and market intelligence to build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
This is a role for someone who thrives on consultative selling: listening carefully to prospects, understanding their operational pain points, and helping them see how BRAINR can create real value in their factories.
We’re searching for someone who thrives on connecting with people, spotting opportunities, and being an ambassador of trust and credibility. And because our goal is international growth, you’ll be opening doors to new markets and setting the stage for our expansion across borders.
What you’ll be doing
Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze food industry markets and identify growth opportunities
- Develop prospecting strategies and campaigns in collaboration with Lead Gen.
Prospecting & Qualification
- Drive the early stages of the sales cycle by prospecting, reaching out, and qualifying leads.
- Apply BANT methodology to ensure leads are truly valuable.
- Book qualified meetings for Account Executives.
Brand Ambassador
- Represent BRAINR as a trusted first point of contact, sharing our story, values, and culture with prospects.
- Build trust through clear communication and professional engagement.
- Expand your network and represent BRAINR at industry events and conferences to open new business opportunities.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to fine-tune buyer journeys and nurturing flows.
- Share market insights with Product, Marketing, and Sales to align strategies.
Sales Ops & CRM
- Ensure CRM data is accurate and up to date.
- Produce reports and insights to support decision-making and track progress.
- Preparing proposals and commercial documentation to streamline the sales cycle.
Requirements:
What we’re looking for
- 3-5 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or Inside Sales roles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with stakeholders at different levels.
- A structured, analytical mindset with strong research skills.
- Familiarity with BANT qualification and sales prospecting methodologies.
- Experience with CRM systems and reporting.
- Experience in consulting, food industry, B2B sales, software, and/or SaaS is a strong plus.
- Collaborative spirit to work closely with Marketing and Sales.
- Proactive, goal-driven, and resilient in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) - Spanish is a plus.
