About the Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Business Development Manager DACH to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, a proven ability to onboard new clients, and a knack for sharing insights and strategies with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales Growth:
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing for independent hotels and small chains.
Identify and engage key decision-makers in the hotel industry.
Deliver engaging demos and present tailored solutions to clients.
Overcome objections and close deals effectively.
Transition closed deals seamlessly to the onboarding team.
Market Expertise:
Maintain up-to-date resources for the UK & IRL markets, including forecasts, competitive intelligence, and a robust database of prospects.
Proactively share market insights and learnings with the team.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.
Relationship Building:
Establish a strong personal network in the hospitality industry.
Represent the company at key events like ITB Berlin, networking with potential clients and partners.
Team Support and Strategy:
Support new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Contribute to refining outbound sales strategies tailored to the DACH market.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
At least 4 years of professional experience, with 1-2 years in hotel tech SaaS B2B sales.
Proven success in selling to hotels and managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Skills:
Strong outbound sales expertise with the ability to independently generate and close opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment.
Market Knowledge:
Excellent understanding of the DACH hotel industry.
Fluent in German (mandatory) and English (mandatory). Additional languages are a plus.
Location:
Remote. Residing in GMT+1 is strongly preferred.
