Overview:
As an Associate Consultant for ODU Team, you’ll be actively participating in projects that may be in the areas of real-world effectiveness, market research, forecasting, product launch, business intelligence, sales operations, sales force effectiveness, multi-channel marketing, marketing operations, incentive compensation, oncology, payer/provider services, thought leadership, primary market research, and technology & applications.
The job – Associate Consultant – Onsite Deployment Unit
Responsibilities:
- Conducts primary and secondary research and performs quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify key client issues, translating the data into meaningful insights and communicating recommendations to key decision makers
- Validates data deliverables (qualitatively and quantitatively) and ensures that deliverables meet customer specifications including timeliness and quality
- Leverages business experience and acumens in identifying strategic alternatives to client questions
- Assists with the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and assist in the development of proposals and client solutions.
- Gathers requirements, develops custom reports, fulfills report requests, and responds to client questions under minimal supervision
- Assists in data preparation, delivers components of the project and assists in ensuring quality of the final deliverables
- Works independently and as part of a team, with responsibility for supervising junior team members
- Assists in the design/structure and completion of presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience
- Attends, supports and presents at client meetings
- Helps improving how clients build marketing capabilities by identifying and focusing on key opportunities that can drive increased growth
- Works willingly and effectively with others in and across organization to accomplish team goal
- Prepared to learn and be expert at all IQVIA data sources, specifically US dedicated data assets, including SMART, P360, MIDAS, AnalyticsLink, and associated products
- Be able to quickly learn and work with sales and promotional data, market and epidemiology assessment, pipeline analysis and market research
Our ideal candidate will have:
- An undergraduate or Master’s degree with moderate relevant healthcare experience with an avid interest in healthcare analytics and data and with an understanding of local healthcare markets
- Proven related experience (business analysis, customer service)
- Fluency in English essential both written and verbal and any other European language is a must (German or French, as priority), Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, leading meetings, business, and report writing
- Strong experience with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Excel VBA would be beneficial) ,
- Experience with business intelligence tools preferred e.g. PowerBi, Qlik or similar
- Skills in SAS , Oracle SQL , R Programming and excel VBA would be beneficial
- Prior healthcare data experience, including physician, patient, and epidemiology data is desirable
- Effective communication skills, presentation development skills, project management, and time management skills. Project management experience would be beneficial
- Strong analytical capabilities working on high pressured rapid turnarounds
- Strong capability in managing priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistent and high-quality outcomes
- Ability to think creatively and strategically
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales & marketing business principals Project management experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience can include : prior internship, project work, and/or working experience in any of the following: market research, marketing insights, marketing analytics, multichannel marketing, consumer marketing, branding, forecasting, statistics, predictive modelling, primary market research, technology & applications, healthcare IT, managed markets, management consulting, sales force effectiveness, sales operations, business intelligence, epidemiology, HEOR, data mining, data governance, outsourcing, offshoring, web analytics, data development and programming, and Google Analytics
CONSIDERATIONS Willingness to travel is mandatory Willingness to relocate anywhere within the EMEA Region for client engagements ranging for what could be long periods of time (multiple months)
