Central Functions support the board as well as the business in achieving its strategic objectives. These are, for example, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance and many more.
- Develop and enforce governance frameworks: Define policies, procedures, and best practices for AI.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and data science teams to interpret and operationalize AI-related regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA).
- Build and deploy governance tools and pipelines that monitor and log model performance, data provenance, audit trails, and decision-making transparency.
- Support model documentation (e.g., datasheets, model cards, factsheets) to ensure traceability and accountability, and documentation according to EU AI Act.
- Stay current with evolving regulatory, technical, and ethical standards in AI governance.
- Drive 3rd party AI solutions evaluation.
- Standardization: Ensure consistency in methodologies, tools, and reporting across teams within the company.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with business units AI experts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
- Experience with model auditing, fairness evaluation, explainability techniques, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with privacy-enhancing technologies and data protection regulations.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks; knowledge of governance platforms and tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of MLOps and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Agile Methods (SCRUM, SAFe).
- Understanding of cybersecurity and secure model deployment practices.
- Experience implementing governance solutions in enterprise environments.
- Experience in technical leadership roles & working in an international team.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, legal, and policy teams.
